Who This Is For
This service is for people whose needs are changing, as well as those who want to ensure their home remains their sanctuary for the long term.
The "Future-Proofer" (Proactive Aging-in-Place)
According to AARP, 77% of adults 50+ want to remain in their homes for the long term. We help you stay part of that number. You are currently well, but want to make strategic updates now to avoid the stress of a forced move or emergency renovation later.
The "Immediate Need" (Reactive Adaptation)
New dementia or cognitive changes: The home needs to be adapted to support current function and reduce confusion.
New mobility or balance limitations: Walker use, weakness, or instability requires functional adaptations.
Preparing for surgery recovery: Temporary or permanent changes needed before you return home.
A fall or near-fall: Something changed suddenly, and you need to quickly assess and adapt the environment.
Discharge from ER/Hospital/Rehab: You need coordination and a rapid home readiness review before arrival.
In all these moments, we step in so you don't have to manage the logistics alone.
What We Do
Identify the few home changes that matter right now
Whether for immediate safety or long-term comfort, we focus on high-impact adaptations without overwhelming you with unnecessary options.
Coordinate vendors, equipment, and scheduling
We handle the calls, scheduling, and coordination with contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers so you don't have to chase people down.
Sequence work so progress happens quickly
We manage timelines and prioritize tasks to ensure the most critical changes happen first.
Keep everyone aligned as changes are made
We provide clear communication and updates so you and your family stay informed throughout the process.
We become your temporary project manager—so you can focus on living your life, rather than managing a construction project.
How It Works
Quick Intake & Goal Setting
We gather information about your home environment and clarify your goal: are we solving an immediate crisis or designing for the next 10 years?
Rapid Readiness & Risk Review
We conduct a focused assessment of the home and create a prioritized action plan for risk-optimized adaptations.
Coordination + Follow-through
We coordinate all necessary services, schedule installations, and ensure everything is ready and functional.
Goal: The first meaningful home change completed in under 7 days.
Important Boundaries
We do not adjust medications or provide medical clearance. All medical decisions and medication management must be handled by licensed healthcare providers.
We reduce environmental risk but cannot prevent all falls. We cannot prevent falls caused by medical events (e.g., syncope, stroke, seizures).
Our focus is the environment. We provide adaptations, coordination, and project management to support a functional home. If your needs are primarily clinical or planning-focused, we may recommend our Care Steward Consult instead.
